Power has now been restored to the correct paths. Services are fully operational again.
We are monitoring the service closely, and will share further reason for outage details once understood.
Apologies for the disruption caused this morning.

We are expecting a further outage at around 08:50 - 09:00 as the data centre switches impacted servers across to the correct power feed. All staff will coordinate to keep disruption down to a minimum.

The centre has updated us to say:
"A temporary workaround has been put in place to restore service however servers are currently running with no UPS backup whilst the technical teams continue to isolate the fault.
At this time the incident remains ongoing and all impacted servers are liable to loose power again as servers are switched back to their intended power feed."

The centre has said "The disruption has been isolated to an interruption to a power feed and teams have implemented a temporary workaround to restore power to impacted systems. Further updates will be provided as they become available."

Further to the outage on 07/10/2024 we have a further power incident at the DC5 data centre this morning. This is not affecting the same aisles which impacted service last time. Some shared hosting, dedicated servers and email will be impacted. We will share more details once understood from the centre.
